Job Description
Job Purpose The Senior Financial Analyst will support a broad range of FP&A, operational analytics, and business intelligence initiatives, with a particular focus on provider compensation, physician productivity, revenue analytics, and healthcare operations reporting. The role offers significant visibility to leadership and the opportunity to influence key business decisions across a rapidly growing healthcare platform. Key Responsibilities Provider Compensation & Incentive Modeling Design, build, and maintain provider compensation and incentive compensation models Perform forecasting and scenario analysis related to provider compensation plans Support leadership with data-driven recommendations regarding compensation structures Operations Reporting & Analytics Develop and maintain provider productivity reporting Analyze encounter volume, contribution metrics, and operational performance Perform practice and operational performance analysis by office location, clinic, laboratory, market, and provider Deliver actionable insights to operational and executive leadership teams Talent Acquisition Analytics Maintain revenue-generating headcount tracking models Support workforce planning, forecasting, and reporting initiatives Analyze recruiting and staffing metrics tied to growth objectives Financial Planning & Analysis Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes Build financial models to evaluate operational performance and strategic initiatives Assist with investor and executive reporting as needed Strategic & Ad Hoc Projects Evaluate new business opportunities and growth initiatives Support payer fee schedule analysis and contract negotiation efforts Participate in special projects impacting financial and operational performance Qualifications Required 4+ years of relevant experience in healthcare FP&A, healthcare consulting, public accounting with healthcare clients, and/or investment banking or transaction advisory with significant healthcare exposure Minimum of 2 years of healthcare industry experience Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting concepts Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and complex financial analysis Ability to work independently and effectively partner with operational leaders Preferred Physician practice or outpatient healthcare experience Revenue cycle exposure Provider productivity and compensation analytics experience Experience with Datarails or similar FP&A platforms Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools Recent exposure to Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI tools used to improve productivity and analysis
