The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will support the Digital Technology Organization by managing, analyzing, and forecasting global technology spend, including operating expenses, capital investments, and headcount. You will partner with IT and Finance team members to ensure accurate financial reporting, disciplined investment management, and data-driven decision-making across the Digital Technology portfolio. You will be visible and support senior technology and finance leadership by providing insights into spend, capitalization, resourcing, and forecast risks and opportunities. You will report directly into the Sr Director, Corporate Finance. About the Job Financial Forecasting Manage quarterly and annual forecasting and reporting for Digital Technology spend, including Opex, Capex, and headcount Partner with IT leaders to manage headcount forecasting , hiring plans, attrition assumptions, and labor mix Support long-range planning, annual operating plans, and strategic investment reviews Capitalization & Accounting Support Manage capitalization of internal and external labor , ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policy Partner with Accounting and Finance Shared Services to ensure accurate treatment of project costs, timing, and capitalization thresholds Track capital project spend, in-service dates, and amortization impacts Actuals Management & Variance Analysis Review monthly actuals and investigate variances vs. budget and forecast Track vendor Statements of Work (SoWs), purchase orders, invoices, and accruals Ensure completeness and accuracy of financials through close and reporting cycles Business Partnership & Decision Support Be the trusted finance partner to Digital Technology team members, providing insights on spend trends, risks, and tradeoffs Support development of technology business cases , including ROI, benefits tracking, and financial assumptions Deliver clear, well-structured financial materials for leadership reviews Analytics, Process & Organization Perform ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis to support investment and resource decisions Improve forecasting, reporting, and tracking processes , with a focus on organization, data integrity, and scalability Maintain documentation and controls around assumptions, models, and data sources Important Outcomes We accurately record Digital Technology financials in accordance with GAAP, including proper capitalization of labor and project costs. Technology Forecast (Opex, Capex, and Headcount) About You Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or IT/Technology finance Experience with headcount forecasting and labor cost management Hands-on experience with capitalization of labor and technology project costs Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills Experience supporting IT, Digital, Engineering, or Technology organizations Knowledge of ERP systems, project accounting, and technology investment models Manage complex, multi-workstream financials Clear communicator who can translate financial data into business insights This is a hybrid work schedule based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. We expect you in office 3 days per week, typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on needs. The expected starting salary range for this role is $92,000 - $135,000 per year We may pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. We will base the amount an employee will earn within the salary range on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and needs. Levi Strauss & Co.
