Job Description

Job Summary Senior Financial Analyst responsible for delivering financial analysis, month-end close support, budgeting assistance, executive reporting, and strategic financial planning. Partners with senior leadership to provide financial guidance, variance analysis, and operational insights that support business decisions. Prepares executive presentations, assists with capital and operating budget development, monitors contracts and capital expenditures, and collaborates across finance and operational teams. Provides mentorship to junior analysts and may represent the department in leadership meetings in the Director's absence. Key Responsibilities Conduct financial analysis, reporting, and decision support for divisional leadership Act as a liaison between finance operations and senior leadership Prepare and review month-end journal entries and evaluate financial performance Create monthly financial reporting packages and executive-level presentations Analyze budget variances and provide meaningful recommendations and insights Assist in the preparation and management of annual operating and capital budgets Track contract renewals and assess related budget impacts Reconcile capital expenditures, transfers, additions, and project activity Partner with department leaders to review operational and financial performance Support departmental strategic planning and financial initiatives Mentor and provide guidance to junior financial analysts Collaborate with cross-functional teams across finance and operations Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support organizational objectives Requirements Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA desirable. Finance, accounting or information technology background 4+ years of experience in a finance department with progressive accounting and budgeting for a healthcare system Experienced user of Hyperion Essbase / Planning / Reports & EPIC.
Pay:
$36.00 - $43.00 per hour
