Job Description

Experteer Overview As a Senior Portfolio Engineer, you will shape fixed income strategies for a global client base, collaborating across research, trading, and implementation to translate macro views into disciplined portfolio tilts. You'll lead the development of new strategies, support Investment Policy Committee decisions, and scale fixed income solutions across clients. The role combines client-facing insights with hands-on portfolio management and tool development, underpinning Fisher's objective to improve investment outcomes. This is a high-impact, growth-oriented position within a collaborative, data-driven environment.
Compensation / Benefits
  • Support Investment Policy Committee in constructing and managing fixed income strategies
  • Review and rebalance portfolios to align with guidelines and committee viewpoints
  • Translate macro and sector views into duration, curve, sector, and security tilts
  • Lead development of new fixed income strategies for a global client base
  • Engage in external client meetings and respond to ad hoc requests
  • Develop and maintain portfolio tools to enhance performance and scalability
  • Collaborate with Research, Trading, and Implementation teams to broaden expertise
  • Oversee trade lifecycles and rebalance processes
  • Communicate strategy insights to internal clients and large clients/prospects Tasks
  • 7+ years in fixed income in a portfolio management role
  • Experience with buy-side research and trading
  • Proven ability to lead growth initiatives and cross-team collaboration
  • Strong data manipulation skills and familiarity with financial data systems
  • Desire to support clients using subject-mpecific expertise Key requirements
