Job Description:
A leading investment manager is seeking a Settlement & Funding Analyst to join its Treasury & Operations team. This is an opportunity to support complex loan settlements while gaining exposure to one of the fastest-growing areas of the investment management industry. The team offers strong work-life balance, exceptional career development, and the opportunity to collaborate with front office, treasury, tax, and fund accounting professionals in a highly respected investment platform This position is located downtown Chicago, and offers a hybrid schedule 3 days a week in office
Compensation:
$60,000 - $80,000 + Bonus + Outstanding Benefits. What You'll Do Coordinate loan trade settlements across multiple investment funds Prepare and execute trade documentation, including assignment agreements, funding memos, and trade tickets Manage settlement activity with agents, counterparties, and internal stakeholders Monitor daily cash movements and settlement activity Review deal documentation and confirm trade terms Support Know Your Customer (KYC) and tax documentation requests Review corporate organizational structures and legal documentation Assist with bond settlements, audits, special projects, and process improvements Maintain accurate operational procedures and documentation What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree Ability to interpret credit agreements and extract key loan terms Experience reviewing legal documentation Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Strong communication and relationship-building skills
