KM0013451742Robert Half is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in the Palmer, Massachusetts area to hire a Sr. Manufacturing Accounting Analyst. This is a high-visibility role supporting manufacturing operations in a complex, project-based environment. The position offers strong exposure to senior leadership, cross-functional partnership, and long-term career growth.

Job SummaryThe Sr. Manufacturing Accounting Analyst will support financial reporting, cost accounting, inventory analysis, and operational performance. This person will work closely with finance, operations, supply chain, engineering, quality, and program management teams to provide financial insight and decision support.

ResponsibilitiesSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to inventory, cost of sales, and manufacturing variancesPerform cost accounting analysis including standard costing, variance analysis, inventory accounting, and work-in-process analysisPrepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting schedulesOversee inventory controls, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory processesAnalyze manufacturing costs and operational performance metrics to identify risks and opportunitiesPartner with operations, supply chain, engineering, quality, and program managementSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activitiesAssist with project and contract financial tracking, including profitability and cost performanceProvide financial analysis for capital investments, pricing, and cost reduction initiativesSupport process improvement and operational efficiency initiativesEnsure compliance with GAAP, cost accounting standards, and government contracting requirementsHelp maintain inventory integrity, indirect cost allocations, and manufacturing cost structuresCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experienceAnnual bonus opportunityHybrid work schedule401(k) with company matchHealthcare benefitsPaid time off and holidaysEmployee stock ownership program starting on day oneCareer growth opportunities within the organizationWhy JoinThis company offers a strong leadership team, employee development, and opportunities for internal advancement.
