Job Description

Robert Half has partnered with a growing private equity backed company in the Chapel Hill, North Carolina area to assist them in hiring a Senior Financial Analyst. This position requires a bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics and at least two years of corporate FP&A experience. This company is not offering relocation assistance, so only local candidates are being considered at this time. The primary job functions of this position are financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to support business initiatives and executive decision-making.

Experience with Oracle, NetSuite or Power BI is prefered. This company offers a hybrid work schedule,, an annual bonus program, growth potential and excellent benefitsKey ResponsibilitiesAnnual budget preparation and monthly, quarterly and annual variance analysisBuild financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate performance and future outcomesTrack metrics, analyze results, and create financial dashboards and reports for leadershipProduce recurring financial summaries and presentations for senior stakeholdersAssess costs, returns, and investments to support strategic choicesImprove financial reporting processes and workflowsCollaborate with accounting, operations, and other groups to maintain consistent dataContribute to the management and enhancement of planning/budgeting softwareSupport a range of financial, operational, and strategic projects as neededQualificationsExperience working with financial data to inform business decisionsKnowledge of financial modeling techniques and basic accounting principlesAbility to spot trends and communicate insights clearly in written and visual formatsAdvanced Excel skills; familiarity with visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau)Experience with financial systems (NetSuite, Oracle, or similar)Effective communication with leaders and cross‑functional partners
