You'll Support Meaningful Work By:
Partnering with Sales leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders to provide financial insight that supports pricing, forecasting, and business decision‑making. Analyzing financial data to evaluate profitability, performance trends, and variances, and translating findings into clear, actionable insights. Supporting forecasting, reporting, and planning activities to help the business meet overall financial and profit objectives. Investigating data anomalies, asking proactive questions, and independently researching issues to recommend solutions. Collaborating with internal teams, banking partners, and external service providers to support financing, reporting, and operational processes. Communicating financial information clearly through written summaries, presentations, and discussions with finance and non‑finance partners. Contributing to ad hoc projects and continuous improvement efforts that strengthen tools, processes, and ways of working. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Minimum of 2 years of full‑time professional experience in finance, accounting, banking, or a related analytical role Demonstrated experience performing financial analysis, interpreting data, and drawing business‑relevant conclusions Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance partners Experience working independently, managing priorities, and meeting recurring deadlines Desired Skills and Experience Proficiency in Excel and MS Office tools, including working with and manipulating data for analysis and reporting Experience using ERP or financial systems (such as SAP or similar platforms) Background in banking, credit analysis, commercial lending, or corporate finance Ability to provide thoughtful financial recommendations and point‑of‑view beyond standard reporting Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences Comfort working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with both recurring and ad hoc work Demonstrated initiative and curiosity, proactively identifying issues and opportunities without direction Doing better for people and planet Steelcase is a global design and thought leader in the world of work.
