Onsite Overview The Financial Coordinator supports day-to-day financial operations by processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and experience working with financial systems and spreadsheets. Key Responsibilities Financial Transactions (70%) Process daily financial transactions in Workday, including supplier invoices, employee and vendor reimbursements, requisitions, and purchase orders. Initiate, monitor, and track transactions to ensure accuracy and completion. Collect and review supporting documentation and follow up with staff when additional information is required. Compile and manage documentation such as professional service agreements, supplier registration forms, and guest speaker forms. Process wire transfers as required. Ensure compliance with organizational spending and documentation policies. Assign appropriate worktags to transactions for accurate financial reporting. Review transactions monthly and reconcile accounts. Maintain proper documentation within the financial system. Business Processes and System Updates (20%) Stay current with system updates and new functionality in Workday. Participate in training and refresher sessions as needed. Collaborate with business staff to review policy updates and financial processes. Reporting Support (10%) Assist with financial reporting and reconciliation of budget coding errors. Respond to internal questions related to financial transactions. Prepare statistical and transactional reports as needed. Required Skills Experience with Workday financial transactions . Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, spreadsheets, and data tracking). Familiarity with Google Workspace . Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 1-2 years of experience with financial systems such as Workday or similar platforms.
