Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Pay rate: $26.35/per hour About the Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Coordinator to support daily financial operations for a leading higher education and athletics organization. This role is ideal for candidates with strong Excel skills, experience processing financial transactions, and familiarity with Workday or similar financial systems. Responsibilities Process financial transactions including supplier invoices, reimbursements, requisitions, and purchase orders. Maintain compliance with organizational spending and documentation policies. Assist with budget reconciliation and correction of coding discrepancies. Prepare financial and statistical transaction reports. Monitor and stay current on system updates and process changes within Workday. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely financial processing. Support administrative and financial reporting activities as needed.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-2 years of experience using Workday, Excel, Google Workspace, or similar systems. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Experience working in higher education, athletics, recreation, or nonprofit environments. Customer service experience with a service-oriented mindset.
