Depending on Experience Join our dynamic Finance Team in Nashville, TN As a Financial Analyst II, you will drive business strategy by developing dynamic financial models through benchmarking and process analysis. You will evaluate and report on financial performance, champion the automation of financial workflows, and ensure all transactions maintain strict compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards specific to our Credit Union. What You'll Do:
With a dedication to a member centric approach Research historical data to forecast quarterly and annual cost projections Develop forecast models, analyze financial performance, and assist in managing key financial measures (revenue, gross profit, expense, and cash) Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with month-end/year-end close processes, audits, and tax reporting Assist with maintenance, support, and integrity of the CECL model. Assist with both consumer and business ACH and Share Draft process Ensure all daily transactions and financial statements comply with GAAP specific to the Credit Union industry Assist in the preparation of financial reports and provide advice on cost-reducing techniques Participates in budgeting (for departments and projects) Assist in training new personnel and overseeing the cross-training of the Accounting department staff Maintains confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions

What We're Looking For Exceptional communication skills for handling sensitive information, resolving conflict, and navigating complex personal interactions Ability to build, foster, and maintain sound relationships with external entities, clients, and partners Deep working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Strong proficiency in core banking software and technology platforms Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required Minimum of three to five years prior accounting experience required, preferably in a credit union or financial institution Required to be ACH Certified (Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email tools such as Outlook Experience in or knowledge of financial institution products, services, and records preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
