Sr. Financial Analyst

Description Our growing client in the Nashville area is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with strong technical capabilities in the Microsoft Power Platform to enhance financial visibility and support more data-driven decision-making across the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys moving beyond traditional Excel-based analysis and building dynamic dashboards, automated workflows, and actionable insights for leadership.

The role:

+ Design and maintain Power BI dashboards to deliver real-time visibility into financial and operational performance + Develop and automate reporting processes using Power Automate and related tools + Perform detailed variance analysis (budget vs. actual, forecast vs. actual, trend analysis) and communicate key drivers + Partner with accounting and business leaders to build meaningful KPIs and performance metrics + Analyze large data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities + Support forecasting and budgeting processes, including scenario modeling + Improve reporting efficiency by transitioning manual processes into automated, scalable solutions + Assist with month-end and quarter-end reporting packages + Provide ad hoc analysis and decision support to leadership Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required + 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP& A, or related roles + Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI (dashboard creation, data modeling, visualization) + Experience with Power Automate or similar tools for workflow automation + Advanced Excel skills (data manipulation, financial modeling, etc.) + Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights + Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail + Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with non-finance stakeholders Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
