Job Description

Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst Medix Infusion - 2.5 Addison, TX Job Details Full-time 22 hours ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description
ABOUT MEDIX INFUSION
Medix Infusion is a PE-backed ambulatory infusion platform operating 60 Ambulatory Infusion Centers (AICs) across seven states. Patients receive complex infusion and injection therapies in our clinical settings, and we are in an active phase of organic and inorganic growth. The Finance team is lean, high-output, and directly linked to senior leadership and the board decision-making.
ROLE SUMMARY
This is a high-visibility, high-accountability role working directly with the CFO in a fast-moving PE-backed environment. You will own analytical workstreams end-to-end — not just support them. You will build models that drive real operating decisions, produce materials reviewed by the senior leadership team, board and our private equity sponsor, and develop genuine fluency in the economics of a multi-site healthcare services platform. This is not a role for someone who wants to run reports. It is a role for someone who wants to understand the business and help run it.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Build and maintain site-level, drug-level, and payor-level analysis that power margin and pricing decisions, and executive reporting. You will own these models, keep them current, and be expected to explain the outputs. Support monthly variance analysis, including comparison of actuals to budget and prior period across revenue, cost, and EBITDA — with commentary that goes beyond the numbers to explain the 'why.' Own the rolling forecast and annual budget process as a key contributor, including site-level revenue build, headcount planning, and sensitivity modeling around payor mix shifts and volume assumptions. Prepare board decks, lender covenant packages, and sponsor reporting materials in partnership with the CFO. You will develop an understanding of what PE investors and lenders actually care about and build materials that speak to those audiences. Build and maintain KPI dashboards and operational scorecards (Power BI / Adaptive) tracking chair utilization, referral-to-start cycle time, DSO, AR aging, and payor mix across our AIC footprint. Execute ad hoc analytical projects with speed and rigor — this includes anything from evaluating a new payor contract to sizing an operational initiative.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 3-7
years of FP&A, investment banking, or PE-backed company finance experience; healthcare services or multi-site operations experience strongly preferred. Fluency in financial modeling — you can build a three-statement model, a driver-based revenue build, or a scenario analysis from scratch, and you do it in Excel without a template. Strong proficiency in Power BI or similar BI tools; experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or comparable FP&A platforms a plus. You are comfortable operating with incomplete data and still driving to a defensible answer. Ambiguity does not stop you; it focuses you. You communicate clearly in writing and in conversation — you can distill a complex financial analysis into two sentences for a non-finance audience. High integrity with sensitive information; this role handles board-level financials, lender covenants, and M&A data. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required. CFA, CPA, or MBA is a plus but not required.
WHY THIS ROLE
You will have direct line of sight into how a PE-backed healthcare platform is managed — from how capital is allocated to how board narratives are constructed to how operational decisions get made. The CFO is a hands-on partner. If you are early in your career and want to compress your development curve significantly, or if you are a few years in and want real ownership rather than the next increment of Excel work, this role is built for that trajectory.
