Job Summary:
The Pennybacker Company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our boutique firm in Northwest Austin. For over 30 years, we have provided Accounting, Analytics, and Advisory services to progressive small businesses and entrepreneurs. This role manages the full accounting cycle , ensuring that financial data is accurate, organized, and "decision-ready" for our clients. Key Responsibilities (Keywords for Matching):
General Ledger:
Maintain accurate records across general ledgers and sub-ledgers for multiple client engagements.
Financial Reporting:
Support the preparation of accurate, timely Financial Statements and reporting schedules.
Reconciliations:
Prepare high-quality bank reconciliations , revenue schedules, and transaction reviews.
Full Cycle Accounting:
Process transactions across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Inventory, and Payroll.
Process Improvement:
Support internal controls and identify inconsistencies in financial data relationships.
Work Schedule & Benefits:
Optimized Schedule:
Unique 5/10/10/10/5 work week (5-hour Mondays/Fridays; 10-hour mid-week sessions).
Benefits:

Location:
Fully onsite in Northwest Austin (relocation assistance is not provided).
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of professional Accounting or Finance experience.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
Software:
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
Skills:
Strong analytical thinking, organizational discipline, and clear professional communication.
Compensation:
Annual Salary:
$45,000-$55,000. The final salary offer will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, specialized training, and internal equity. How to
