Austin, TX Work mode : Onsite/ Hybrid Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Analyst to support technology-focused M&A transactions, with a strong emphasis on sell-side advisory. This role offers hands-on exposure to live deals, financial modeling, and direct client interaction in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Support execution of sell-side M&A transactions from pitch through closing Build detailed LBO and three-statement financial models Conduct valuation analysis (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions) Perform due diligence and industry/company research Prepare investor presentations, pitch decks, and marketing materials Collaborate closely with senior bankers and interact with clients and counterparties Qualifications 1+ year of experience in Investment Banking, M&A, or Transaction Advisory Proven experience supporting sell-side M&A transactions Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (LBO, DCF, comps) Exposure to technology/software sector preferred Excellent analytical, communication, and execution skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced deal environment What You'll Get Hands-on experience across end-to-end M&A deal execution Direct exposure to clients, investors, and senior bankers High-growth, performance-driven environment
