Job Description

Senior Financial Analyst Addison, TX - 1-2 days onsite/week One of Vaco's PE-backed clients is looking to hire a Senior Analyst as part of a newly-created role to help take some of the reporting and analytical responsibilities off of the Managers plate. Vaco placed the person this reports to and they've given us great feedback on workplace culture and the work itself. The company is rapidly growing (multiple portfolio companies) organically and via multiple acquisitions. Day to day involves gross margin analysis, building financial reporting packages and board decks, and KPI reporting.
Compensation:
$95-110K Day-to-Day Develop, maintain, and enhance recurring financial and operational reporting packages for executive leadership and business partners. Analyze large data sets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting deliverables with meaningful commentary and actionable insights. Create and monitor KPIs and performance metrics across finance, operations, sales, and other functional areas. Build automated dashboards and reporting solutions to improve visibility and decision-making. Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and Operations teams to improve data integrity, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency. Utilize BI and visualization tools to create dynamic reporting dashboards and analytical models. Extract, manipulate, and analyze data from ERP systems, data warehouses, and multiple business platforms. Support development of standardized reporting structures and scalable analytics processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to reporting automation and data governance. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes through advanced reporting and analytical support. Assist leadership with strategic modeling, scenario analysis, and performance tracking. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic initiatives. Develop presentations and materials for executive meetings, board reporting, and leadership reviews. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field. 4+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analytics, business intelligence, or corporate finance. Advanced Excel skills required, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling. Strong experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar platforms. Experience working with ERP systems and large data sets. Experience building executive reporting packages and KPI dashboards. Knowledge of data visualization best practices and reporting automation. Experience with SQL, Power Query, Power Pivot, or other data transformation tools preferred. MBA, CPA, CFA, or related certification is a plus. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or private equity-backed environment preferred. ========================= Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
