Senior Financial Analyst

Senior Financial Analyst Irving, TX - 4 days onsite One of Vaco's PE-backed distribution clients is quickly scaling the finance team and add several roles including a Senior Financial Analyst. This role will serve as a strategic finance partner responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational analysis across inventory, logistics, pricing, sales performance, and profitability initiatives. Culture will be super important - it's a smaller group, like to get along with each other, learn from the team, build/feed off of each other while working independently (sense of humor huge plus). Leaner environment - roles will be heavily involved in deep data dives, KPIs, modeling (from scratch, from existing templates) and business partnering. Compensation $105-115K + Bonus Day-to-Day Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives and business decisions Analyze financial performance, including variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast/prior year) Deliver actionable insights to senior leadership on key drivers of performance Partner with functional leaders (operations, sales, HR, etc.) to understand business drivers and improve financial outcomes Translate financial data into clear, concise recommendations for non-financial stakeholders Prepare monthly, quarterly, and board-level reporting packages for executive leadership and private equity sponsors Develop KPIs and dashboards to track business performance and operational efficiency Assist in lender reporting and covenant compliance as needed Evaluate capital allocation decisions and ROI on key investments Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus) 4-7+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or related fields Experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth environment strongly preferred Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling required); experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus ========================== Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
