Job Description

Flowserve is seeking an early-career finance professional with strong analytical skills and an interest in financial planning and analysis. This role supports the FP&A team in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis to help the business make informed decisions. The analyst will assist in preparing reports, maintaining financial models, analyzing performance trends, and supporting continuous improvement in FP&A processes and tools. This role also works with business partners and cross-functional teams to help ensure financial information is accurate and useful for decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
Support the annual budget, rolling forecast, and long-range planning processes Maintain and update financial models used for business performance tracking, planning, and scenario analysis Help ensure financial data and plans are accurate, timely, and aligned with business priorities Prepare regular management reports, KPI summaries, and financial analyses for the FP&A team and business leaders Assist with variance analysis by comparing actual results to plan, forecast, and prior periods, and identifying key drivers Summarize financial results and help translate them into clear insights for business stakeholders Support finance business partners in evaluating business cases, investment decisions, and cost management opportunities Collaborate with Accounting, IT, and Finance Systems teams to support data integrity and reporting consistency Contribute to process improvements that enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of FP&A reporting and analysis Assist with standardization, automation, and improved analytics within FP&A processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 0-2 years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, internships, or related analytical roles Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial modeling through coursework, internships, or early career experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to team members and stakeholders Ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and support team goals
