Financial Consolidation & Reporting Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between Accounting & Finance users and IT for BPC Planning and Consolidation issues, enhancements, and process improvements Analyze and resolve BPC Planning and Consolidation issues across system, data, and business processes Prioritize and manage issue resolution aligned with close, forecast, and reporting timelines Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements Maintain documentation for BPC Planning and Consolidation processes and reporting structures Understand relationships between
SAP S/4HANA, BPC
Planning, and BPC Consolidation Perform impact analysis of system, data, and process changes Support budget, forecast, and financial close cycles
Financial Consolidation & Reporting:
Support and enhance BPC Consolidation reporting including Audit, Management, and Ad Hoc reporting Validate consolidated financial results for accuracy and completeness Partner with Accounting to enhance reporting structures and hierarchies Analyze consolidated results and support financial reviews
Business Analysis & Requirements Management:
Gather and document business requirements for BPC enhancements Translate requirements into functional specifications Support system testing (SIT/UAT) and validation of financial data Facilitate alignment between Accounting and IT stakeholders
SAP Group Reporting Transition Support:
Support transition from BPC Consolidation to SAP Group Reporting Document current-state processes, data models, and reporting structures Participate in testing, validation, and reconciliation efforts Provide BPC expertise for design and gap analysis discussions
Financial Data Integrity & Controls:
Support reconciliation of data between
BPC, SAP
S/4HANA, and related systems Maintain consistency of financial master data and hierarchies Support internal controls and audit requirements Business Analyst•
Financial Consolidation & Reporting Knowledge & Experience:
6+ Years or more experience Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field Experience working as a Business Analyst with requirements documentation and process design Strong understanding of financial consolidation concepts Experience supporting financial close and reporting processes Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or SAP Group Reporting preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills Experience with
SAC, OneStream, Hyperion BPC Experience:
Hands-on experience with BPC Planning and Consolidation (BPC 11.1 on
BW/4HANA
) Experience with report development, input schedules, and application support Strong understanding of BPC dimensions, hierarchies, and data models Experience using data manager packages for data transformation and issue resolution Experience loading and managing data including flat file integrations Understanding of driver-based calculations and planning logic Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO),
