Financial Analyst

Talascend is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for a contract opportunity with our client in Plano, Texas . Overview The role involves creating and maintaining reports on business performance and key performance indicators, supporting decision-making, and assisting with financial analysis related to sales, promotions, and operational metrics. Responsibilities Create, maintain, and publish weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on business performance and KPIs Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests from internal and external customers Provide detailed reports on forecast accuracy, sales performance, and promotional impact Evaluate historical promotions and conduct post-mortem analysis to determine efficacy and ROI Utilize data analytics to assess promotion and sales program success and recommend adjustments Support business operations through timely management of promotion and marketing investment approvals Assist in the monthly closing process by coordinating with finance teams Prepare financial reports on sales deductions, claims, aging, and related metrics Communicate daily between headquarters and internal teams, handle escalation on production allocation, delivery, and inventory management Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or supply chain management MUST be bilingual in Korean and English. 5-8 years of experience in finance, business, or supply chain roles Experience in telecommunications and/or wireless industry, or related work in planning, finance, or operations Experience researching and resolving product development, launch, logistics issues, and process improvement Data analytics, forecasting, and customer interface experience preferred Necessary Skills & Attributes Develop and maintain excellent working relationships at all levels Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects Review detailed product development, marketing documents, and media materials as needed Demonstrated competency in oral and written communication for various audiences Work independently and as part of a team to achieve objectives within deadlines Ability to develop tasks and work assignments based on sometimes vaguely defined objectives We thank all applicants for their interest.
