Summary/Objective The Inventory Financial Analyst is responsible for reconciling perpetual inventory to the general ledger for CFAN's off-site inventory and other inventory items, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance. The role serves as a liaison between Finance, Production Control, and vendors to maintain inventory valuation and accuracy across the supply chain. Additional duties include supporting audit and compliance efforts by coordinating physical inventories and cycle counts and providing required data to internal and external auditors. The position also assists with month-end and year-end close activities and is responsible for developing and implementing inventory control improvements and procedures. Other inventory areas, including warehouse and work-in-process (WIP), are incorporated as needed. Essential Functions Ensure the accuracy of financial data and physical stock at off-site locations by reconciling records and data between CFAN and vendors systems. Perform detailed inventory reconciliations to ensure physical and GL tie out. Analyze inventory flow across the supply chain to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Observe / Audit
cycle counts Reporting of inventory status, valuation, issues, etc. Support month-end close with focus on inventory and select balance sheet accounts Prepare inventory related journal entries Support inventory related cost accounting activities Support internal and external audits, including the annual financial audit. Other duties as assigned by leader Competencies Teamwork Organizational Skills Detailed Oriented Time Management Strong Analytical Skills Communicate effectively with various levels within and outside of organization . Required Education and Experience 2-5 years of experience in inventory accounting or financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing environment. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, with advanced Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables, Power Query, and other data analysis tools. Experience with ERP systems required; Syteline experience preferred.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's or associate degree in accounting, finance, or supply chain, and/or APICS, CMA, or similar certifications preferred but not required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Performing the duties of this job will require the ability to lift equipment no more than 40 lbs., walk, bend, reach or stand frequently. Requires sitting and working on computers/desk duties. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
