Compliance & Operations Coordinator (Contract-to-Hire)(Onsite with potential for hybrid flexibility | Full-Time, 40 hours/week)Our client has an immediate need for a Compliance & Operations Coordinator to support their expansion into new states and jurisdictions. This is a highly cross-functional role sitting between Accounting, Legal, and Operations, focused on ensuring smooth, compliant market entry. This position offers long-term potential and the opportunity to help build scalable processes from the ground up.

Key ResponsibilitiesConduct research on state-specific requirements for new projects and jurisdictionsTranslate regulatory requirements into clear, actionable steps for internal teamsSupport multi-state compliance efforts including:

Sales & use tax registrationsPayroll and withholding setupContractor licensingBusiness registrations and related filingsAct as a liaison between Accounting, Legal, and Operations to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverablesPrepare and submit forms, applications, and registrations accurately and on timeTrack and manage compliance activities to ensure deadlines are metDevelop and maintain structured workflows, checklists, and documentation for entering new marketsManage ongoing renewals and ensure continued compliance across jurisdictionsIdentify opportunities to improve processes as the company scales
