About the Position The Site Financial Analyst is responsible for managing the finance activities of a specific account/Customer within Kenco Logistics Services, LLC. This position reports directly to the Dir
  • Fin Plan & Analysis in the Corporate Finance team and has dotted line reporting to the site Finance Manager.
The job has significant discretion in performing duties with little management oversight and must effectively problem solve in a fast-paced environment. The job forms strong working partnerships with site leaders, the client, and corporate finance. Functions Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly P&L reports and financial analysis schedules of actual vs. budget variances. Prepare detailed annual financial budget and monthly financial forecasts. Provide financial analysis support to various areas of the company. Maintain records of assets and leases Assist with Month-End Close, Database Management & Reporting, GL Account Reconciliations, Billing, Financial Reporting. Provide information and analysis for management to support strategic decision-making. Work in a collaborative manner with department leaders to develop recommendations for resolution of problems. Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as deemed appropriate. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required 3+ years of work experience in accounting or finance required Strong analytical and financial modeling background and experience required; Experience or knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and cash flow management preferred Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel (i.e. reporting, modeling, pivot tables, macros, data tables, simulations, etc.). Experience with Great Plains, databases, and query tools. Strong organizational skills, with high attention to detail, strong ownership, work ethic, and intense focus on accuracy and accountability required Energy and passion to deliver results in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages in written and verbal communications. Creative and innovative problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment and partner across multiple departments. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook, and the ability to learn other basic computer programs. Competencies Business Acumen
