Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking Principal Financial Analyst (Level 3) or Senior Principal Financial Analyst (Level 4) to join us in the pursuit of top-tier financial performance. The position will report to the Senior Manager of Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis (FPR&A) and is located in Clearfield, UT. This position is primarily in the office. This high visibility role will work closely with the Aerostructures program teams and functions as well as the Air Dominance Division Controller's team. This role requires coordination with multiple stakeholders, strong analytical and communication skills, and understanding of the Company's financial reporting requirements. We are looking for an individual who is proactive, can help drive the business, and can implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and reporting and resources management. Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:- Primary responsibilities will focus on resources and discretionary budgets management
- Leading and managing the Aerostructures Capital Budgeting, execution, and reporting
- Providing financial management support, leadership, and reporting the Aerostructure Non-contractual Technical Activity (NCTA) budgets and scope. This includes establishing and managing baselines and monthly program management reporting
- Developing, managing, and reporting on Aerostructures Indirect Budgets
- Maintaining and managing the Direct Labor Allocations infrastructure and budgets for the Aerostructures business unit
- Prepare presentations and brief Aerostructures business unit leadership, functions, and Division leadership
- Additional responsibilities include performing FPR&A responsibilities including:
- Support the monthly/quarterly financial reporting and planning processes, including financial forecasting, working capital analysis, profitability and EAC analysis, and other reporting and analysis
- Support quarterly and monthly financial reporting close activities
- Support development of the Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) and Annual Operating Plans (AOP).
- Supports initiatives and ad hoc requests from Program, Division, and Sector leadership.
- Provide systems support for the NG Financial Planning tool
- Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and documentation.
- Coordinate with the functional business management teams to develop strategies to improve financial performance based on metrics.
- Development presentations for, and occasionally brief to, Program and Division leadership.
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of Finance, Accounting, and/or Business-related experience, or a Masters degree with 3 years of stated experience
- Requires intermediate to advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance. Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Financial Analyst (Level 4):
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of Finance, Accounting, and/or Business-related experience, or a Masters degree with 6 years of stated experience
- Requires intermediate to advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business-related discipline
- Expertise in financial analysis and financial forecasting in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Experience with Financial and Business systems (SAP, Cognos). Prior experience with NGFP
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of business intelligence tools
- Candidate has the ability to identify issues and problems and make recommendations to management for resolution or mitigation
- Knowledge of EVMS and EVMS-related tools (Cobra)
- Knowledge of

- Strong project management skills
- Active US Government Secret or higher
Clearance Primary Level Salary Range:
$81,400.00 - $122,000.00Secondary Level Salary Range:
$101,400.00 - $152,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
