Key Responsibilities The Financial Analyst will perform any number of the following: Financial & Strategic Analysis Create, interpret, and analyze financial statements, models, and other financial data to support decision making. Conduct analysis in areas such as: Department performance Profitability and product/loan performance Cost analysis Pricing and valuation Budgeting and forecasting Financial modeling and scenario analysis KPI reporting and ad-hoc analytics Evaluate business transactions, planning cycle activities, and financial outcomes with clear, concise analysis. Incentive Compensation Analytics Serve as a subjectâmatter expert on financial metrics that drive incentive compensation plans. Analyze plan performance, model payout impacts, ensure compliance with policies, and provide insights to leadership. Partner with business units to support design, implementation, and administration of incentive programs for large employee populations. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with leaders across finance, business lines, business intelligence, and affiliates. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and confidence. Build strong crossâfunctional relationships to ensure alignment between financial strategies and business objectives. Process Improvement & Innovation Drive business process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and automation. Identify data issues, perform rootâcause analysis, and implement solutions. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. 4-6+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, analytics, or incentive compensation. Experience in financial services or midâtoâlarge financial institutions preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical, quantitative, and problemâsolving skills. Ability to develop financial models and produce accurate, wellâstructured reporting. Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiencesâfrom front-line bankers to executives. Highly organized, detailâoriented, and able to thrive in deadlineâdriven environments. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in crossâfunctional teams. Strong initiative and drive for continuous improvement. Technical Proficiency Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; strong PowerPoint and Word capabilities. Experience with SQL, Power BI, Business Objects, or Python highly preferred. Experience with Hyperion Essbase, SmartView, Financial Reporting Studio, or similar planning/reporting tools is a plus. Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools desirable.
