This position is expected to be located in Arlington, Virginia. We estimate the award will be made later this year. The Financial Analyst III will support

DARPA ACO

financial management activities including budget execution, forecasting, financial tracking, RDocs preparation, and program budget analysis.

Clearance Required:

TS REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree. Minimum six (6) years of relevant financial analysis experience. Demonstrated creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems in financial, administrative and program management. Experience tracking technical and financial milestones. Demonstrated knowledge and competence in web-based research and modern PC analysis tools. Strong oral and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint. Ability to provide a signed Letter of Intent.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience supporting DoD financial management activities. Familiarity with RDT&E budget processes. Experience supporting DARPA or defense acquisition organizations. Experience preparing executive-level financial reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Generate and route MIPRs and PRs. Develop office and program budgets. Prepare monthly financial execution reports. Support quarterly program reviews and RDocs preparation. Manage travel budget tracking and reporting. Develop ad hoc financial reports and analyses.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The Salary for this contingent hire position is $95,000 to $115,000 based on experience and includes medical/dental/vision benefits, 10 days PTO and 7 days sick time; other benefits available. This is a contingent position for a proposal we are bidding on (published 26 May 2026). Additional information provided during interview.
