Intake ADR Financial Coordinator

Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Apply Description Intake/ADR Financial Coordinator SUMMARY:
The Intake/ADR Financial Coordinator is responsible for the verification of insurance, accurate set-up, and processing daily census changes in the billing system as well as the coordination of the ADR process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintain accurate census information in billing system Verification of insurance per Business Office Policy and Procedure. Initial set-up in billing system for new admissions. Work as a team player with the pre-admission process. Work with billing team for any census corrections needed relating to billing. Verify Bed Holds have signed Bed Hold Agreements before updating the daily census. Assist in collecting all data to be processed and finalized during the admission process and to pursue admission closings Track and manage ADR requests through completion. Ensure timely submission of medical record requests and appeals. Follow up on denials and appeals. Compile statistics regarding ADRs for management team. Promote and demonstrate a Service Excellence culture. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
: High School diploma with emphasis on business courses. 5 years' experience in health care billing and insurance verification. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe. Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills to communicate with all individuals including patients, residents and coworkers. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment. Must be flexible, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and be able to make effective decisions and work as part of a service excellence team. Able to work flexible schedules.
