Job Description

ECS is seeking aFinancial Analyst (Basic)to support the Missile Defense Agency's Aegis-Based Defense program inDahlgren, VA.The successful candidate will function as a member of a financial team supporting one of the Aegis-Based Program Offices. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Prepare funding documents using the DAI Finance & Accounting System.

Maintain accounting log (log/status for all funding documents).Conduct financial execution, record keeping, and analysis.

Reconcile
DAI/1002
status.

Generate financial reports.

Reconcile unliquidated obligations (ULOs).Resolve unmatched disbursements (UMDs).Build dormant account review - quarterly (DAR-Q) reports.

Conducts year-end closeout of expiring funds.

Resolves
DAI/PRIDE
system errors (document issues /status inaccuracies/monitor help desk tickets).Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Excellent attention to detail.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Either have, or the ability to obtain, a DoD secret clearance.

Associates' or Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
