We are seeking a Financial Analyst for a direct hire opportunity in New Kent, VA. The Financial Analyst will begin with hands-on portfolio analysis, model monitoring, and trade implementation, then progressively take on greater ownership of portfolio design, risk management, and investment decision-making. You will work closely with advisors, research professionals, and investment leaders in a setting that values disciplined analysis, clear communication, professional development, and a long-term career path. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily analysis of quantitative trading systems, investment models, market trends, economic indicators, and portfolio positioning.
- Implement model trades across multiple investment platforms while supporting tax-efficient strategies for taxable accounts.
- Review prospective and existing client portfolios to identify risks, inefficiencies, opportunities, and appropriate asset allocation recommendations.
- Collaborate with financial advisors, clients, and external fund managers to explain investment models, portfolio positioning, and market outlooks.
- Develop, test, and refine new quantitative investment strategies in partnership with the research team.
- Create investment-related commentary and educational content for blogs, social media, advisors, and clients. Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range provided: $55,000 to $90,000 per year.
- Recruiter notes indicate compensation depends on investment-related experience:
- Less than 5 years of investment-related experience: $55,000 to $85,000 per year.
- More than 5 years of investment-related experience: $85,000 to $110,000 per year.
- Hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of 2 days per week in-office.
- Employer support is expected for candidates beginning the CFA program within 12 months.
