Job Description

Overview We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst. In this role, the analyst will support the preparation and analysis of financial statements, assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, and help ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Your keen financial acumen and organizational skills will drive insightful financial analysis, enabling us to optimize profitability and manage costs effectively. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual eager to develop their expertise in financial reporting, and technical accounting within a the pharmaceutical space. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of detailed financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses. Support the budgeting process by gathering data, analyzing variances, and contributing to strategic planning initiatives. Conduct account analysis to verify accuracy of financial data and ensure compliance. Collaborate with teams across finance and accounting functions such as corporate accounting, cost accounting, and public accounting firms. Contribute to the development of financial software tools that streamline reporting processes and improve forecast accuracy. Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; relevant internships are highly valued. Foundational knowledge of financial concepts including profit & loss management, cost accounting, and financial analysis techniques. Familiarity with financial software applications such as ERP systems or Excel-based models. Understanding of regulatory frameworks like SOX compliance and GAAP standards. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Excellent communication skills for clear financial report writing and interpretation of complex data sets.
