You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience preparing a variety of reports on the status of funds commitment and understanding of different parts of accounting data needed to create lines of accounting. Experience utilizing automated Navy financial systems such as CFMS, SABRS, NavyERP, etc. Experience and working knowledge of FIAR compliance. Experience maintaining audit readiness for a financial program. Experience creating obligation plans for future years expenditures, and to using the correct JONs. Experience working in a team atmosphere and communicating with subordinate commands.
