Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Coordinator to support accounts payable operations for a Contract position based in Seattle, Washington. This role is ideal for someone who can manage high-volume invoice processing, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely payments to vendors. The successful candidate will bring strong organizational skills, sound judgment in coding expenses, and a dependable approach to day-to-day transactional finance work.
Responsibilities:
  • Review incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper approval before processing payments.
  • Assign correct general ledger or account codes to invoices to support accurate financial reporting.
  • Enter and maintain payable transactions in a timely manner while keeping documentation organized and audit-ready.
  • Prepare and coordinate ACH payments and check runs according to established payment schedules.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies by working with internal stakeholders and external vendors to clarify billing issues.
  • Reconcile accounts payable records and assist in identifying and correcting outstanding items.
  • Monitor payment deadlines to help ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time.
  • Support ongoing improvements to payable workflows and assist with finance-related administrative tasks as needed.
