Financial Systems Analyst

Description We are looking for a Financial Systems Analyst to support a client as they go live in Concur. This role will partner with stakeholders to evaluate Concur-related processes, clarify business needs, and strengthen expense and invoicing operations through thoughtful analysis and documentation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of workflow design, reporting considerations, and issue identification while helping teams move initiatives forward in a structured and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the current Concur setup and translate existing configurations into clear business and process documentation.
• Review expense policies, approval paths, and workflow rules to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze the status of invoicing capabilities by distinguishing completed functionality from items still underway and outlining related risks or blockers.
• Partner with business and technical teams to support implementation activities, define priorities, and maintain visibility into dependencies and timelines.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing efforts by documenting scenarios, validating outcomes, and capturing feedback for system refinements.
• Develop reporting and audit-focused recommendations that improve oversight, compliance, and decision-making.
• Provide post-launch support planning by identifying operational needs, enhancement requests, and stabilization priorities after go-live.
• Contribute to process automation and system enhancement initiatives that improve accuracy, efficiency, and user experience within Concur. Requirements
• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst on enterprise application or process improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on knowledge and implementation experience of Concur, including Expense and Travel-related business processes.
• Strong capability in document analysis, requirements gathering, and gap assessment.
• Experience supporting implementations, enhancement roadmaps, or phased delivery efforts in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with user acceptance testing, issue tracking, and validation of business requirements.
• Ability to evaluate workflow logic, approvals, and policy alignment to recommend practical improvements.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business stakeholders and technical teams.
