Additional Compensation Details:
$140K- $155K/ annuallyYearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenureJob DescriptionThe Senior Business Systems Analyst (Financials) with ERP experience partners with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze processes, define requirements, and deliver improvements across the ERP ecosystem with primary focus on all Financial modules and secondary focus on all Supply Chain modules. This role translates business needs into functional and technical specifications, supports solution design, validates configurations and integrations, and ensures successful deployment and adoption through testing, training, and change management.
This is a critical role within the organization with high impact. This role sits at the intersection of business stakeholders, technology team, implementation teams and is an integral part of overall Digital transformation.Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison between business units and IT to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirementsParticipate in overall ERP implementation program with focus in financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management. Key functional areas include financial control, and reporting, featuring tools for Accounting Hub, Revenue Management, and ExpensesFacilitate workshops and interviews; map current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) processes and identify gaps/opportunitiesTranslate requirements into user stories, use cases, process flows, data mappings, and functional design documentsPartner with ERP functional/technical leads to evaluating options, design solutions, and support configuration and development activitiesSetup and configuration of all financial modules and secondary focus on supply chain modules.
Support ERP modules and cross-functional processes mainly Financials (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management) with complimenting knowledge on all Supply Chain modules which include Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory, Warehouse Management, PlanningCoordinate and execute testing (SIT/UAT): develop test plans, scenarios, scripts; triage defects; validate fixes; ensure sign-offSupport integrations (e.g., EDI, WMS, eCommerce) and data management (master data, reference data, data governance)Drive reporting and analytics requirements; collaborate on dashboards and operational/financial reportsDevelop training materials, job aids, and release communications; provide go-live and hypercare supportMaintain documentation and traceability: requirements, decisions, risks/issues, change requests, and release notesParticipate in project planning and delivery activities (Agile/Scrum or Waterfall): backlog grooming, sprint planning, status reportingChampion continuous improvement, controls, and compliance; help ensure processes align with policies and audit requirementsQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)6+ years of Business Systems Analyst (or similar) experience supporting ERP implementations or enhancementsFinance and procurement ERP system configuration experienceHands-on experience with at least one major ERP platform (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor, SAP, NetSuite, Workday Finance)Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with testing best practices (test planning, execution, defect management, UAT facilitation)Understanding of end-to-end business processes and data flows across functional areas.
Proficiency with analysis and documentation tools (e.g., Visio/Lucid chart, Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence/SharePoint, Excel)Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate between business and technical audiencesOperational & Collaboration SkillsStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skillsAbility to work with application owners and non-data teamsComfortable operating production data pipelines with SLAsEducation:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldAdvanced degree preferred Preferred QualificationsExperience with ERP implementations, rollouts, or multi-entity implementations; familiarity with change management practicesExperience with any e-Commerce platforms and applications like Docusign and Adobe SignExperience with any Service desk platforms similar to ServiceNow / Manage Engine will be added advantageExperience with any documentation management systems similar to Doclink / AltecExperience with Great Plains Financials management systemsKnowledge of integrations and middleware (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica) and API conceptsExperience with data migration, ETL, and master data governanceUnderstanding of GAAP complianceLean/Six Sigma process improvement experienceCertification(s): Any ERP-specific certificationsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
