Job Description

Financial Analyst Reports To:
Controller FLSA Status:
Exempt - Salaried Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic insights that support business decision-making and organizational growth. Must have a C.P.A. This role requires collaboration across departments to evaluate financial performance, identify trends and opportunities, improve reporting processes, and support overall financial health and operational efficiency. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgeting tools to support strategic planning and operational decision-making. Monitor financial performance and identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities. Assist in the preparation and management of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Conduct financial analysis related to operational performance, capital expenditures, and business initiatives. Partner with department leaders to provide financial guidance and support business objectives. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reporting dashboards for leadership. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes as needed. Support audits, compliance reporting, and internal controls initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiencies. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations. Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports as requested by leadership. Supervisory Responsibilities This position may assist with mentoring or training junior staff but does not typically include direct supervisory responsibilities. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, or related financial roles. Experience with financial forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems. Experience working with ERP systems and business intelligence/reporting tools preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Technical Proficiency Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and comfortable learning new financial systems and software. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
