Job Description

Schedule:
Full-time Monday through Thursday 8am-5pm. No Fridays or Weekends!
Compensation:
Competitive, based on experience About Our Practice Associated Dentists is a privately owned, high-volume dental practice serving a large and diverse patient base in Madison, WI. Position Summary The Dental Financial Coordinator is a key member of our administrative team, responsible for managing insurance verification, claims, and patient financial communication in a high-volume setting. Core Responsibilities Verify insurance benefits accurately and efficiently for a high daily patient volume via websites, fax, and phone. Submit, monitor, and follow up on dental insurance claims Review EOBs and resolve claim denials or discrepancies in a timely manner Prepare and explain treatment estimates to patients in person with clarity, confidence, knowledge of treatment, and insurance benefits Review monthly aging reports and follow up with patients on balances Communicate with insurance companies regarding coverage, claims, and appeals Maintain detailed, accurate insurance records in Dentrix Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to maintain smooth workflows Qualifications 1+ years of dental insurance coordination experience Strong verbal communication in person, email and over the phone Strong understanding of dental insurance plans, CDT codes, and claims processing Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and prioritize while paying attention to detail Familiarity with dental practice management software Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills What We Offer Competitive pay with growth potential Cross-training opportunities and professional development Supportive leadership and team-oriented culture Stable schedule in a growing practice Benefits including health insurance, long term disability, AD&D, short term disability, vision insurance, 401k and 401k match, profit sharing, paid holidays, paid time off, scrub allowance, referral bonuses, and more!
