Job Description
Warranty Accounting Analyst responsible for recording, reporting, reconciling, and analyzing quality-related costs and warranty accounting activities. Job Requirements Experience with accounting processes Experience with warranty accounting Experience with reserve management Experience performing account reconciliations Experience supporting accruals, forecasts, or financial assumptions Experience performing financial analysis Knowledge of finance policies and internal control requirements Experience supporting financial statement integrity Experience supporting internal or external audits Experience maintaining financial data accuracy Preferred Skills Experience with quality-related cost reporting Experience with North America warranty accounting processes Experience revising warranty accruals and forecast assumptions Experience identifying financial adjustments Experience supporting regional controllers or finance teams Experience contributing to system or tool improvements Experience with continuous improvement of accounting processes Experience with financial reporting related to warranty, quality, or reserve accounts Job Responsibilities Record and report quality-related costs accurately and on time Ensure compliance with internal control policies Support North America warranty accounting processes Manage warranty reserves Perform account reconciliations Review warranty accrual and forecast assumptions quarterly Perform financial analysis to explain results and identify required adjustments Ensure financial statements comply with finance policies Support internal audit teams Support external audit teams Maintain accuracy of warranty accounting data Support continuous improvement of accounting systems and tools Provide day-to-day support on warranty accounting matters Support regional quality controller and finance peers with warranty-related accounting activities
