Position Summary The Finance Summer Intern will work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to support forecasting, financial reporting, and business analytics. This role is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field who wants hands-on experience in corporate finance within a dynamic, employee-owned company. Key Responsibilities Financial Analysis & Reporting Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, KPI dashboards, and variance analysis. Support the FP&A team in reviewing actual results vs. budget/forecast. Analyze sales, margin, and expense trends to identify risks and opportunities. Assist in forecast models and validating data integrity. Data & Systems Work with Excel, Power BI, and internal financial systems to gather, transform, and interpret data. Help maintain data accuracy for reporting and analytics. Business Support Partner with cross-functional groups such as Accounting, Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations to gather inputs and support project needs. Participate in financial project work such as cost analysis, business reviews, or process documentation. Other Responsibilities Present key project findings to Finance leadership at the end of the internship. Perform additional duties as assigned in support of departmental goals Qualifications Education Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field. Completion of introductory finance/accounting coursework preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas). Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI) a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment What You'll Gain Hands-on experience with real corporate financial processes.
