Role Summary The Accounting Transformation Manager partners with Accounting, Finance, and Operations to modernize accounting & finance processes and enable scalable, efficient financial reporting. The role focuses on financial accounting process improvements, internal controls and compliance, and system optimization, while supporting ongoing growth initiatives and continuous improvement for the Accounting & Finance organization. Key Responsibilities Analyze existing accounting and finance processes; identify inefficiencies, risks, and automation opportunities Implement enhancements of existing processes through effective redesign and remediation of any identified risks Support IPO readiness initiatives, including documentation and control design for future-state processes and controls Own documentation of policies, procedures, and internal controls Lead finance transformation workstreams through standardization of and optimization of financial processes (close optimization, ERP enhancements, reporting redesign) Support implementation and enhancement of finance systems and reporting infrastructure (ERP, close tools, reporting platforms) Support system testing, UAT, and post‑implementation reviews for all finance system optimizations Improve data reliability and auditability across financial processes Assist with design and documentation of future‑state processes and controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Master's degree in Accounting preferred Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred 4-6 years in progressive financial accounting roles, with Big 4 public accounting experience and/or public company corporate accounting roles highly desired Strong understanding of accounting processes and internal controls Detail‑oriented with a process‑improvement mindset Experience supporting SOX and audit requirements Excellent stakeholder communication and written communication skills Extensive experience with Excel and Microsoft Suite Experience with ERP systems (Workday preferred) Experience with other Finance & Accounting platforms (e.g., Blackline, Workiva) Ability to translate business requirements into finance solutions Comfortable with ambiguity, thrive in dynamic environments, strong adaptability How You're Supported As part of the Mission Pet Health Home Office team, you'll be joining a collaborative group of professionals dedicated to supporting our hospital teams and shaping the future of veterinary medicine.
