Job Description

Accounting Manager (Operations) Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager (Operations) to join their Accounting team. This is a highly visible role focused on overseeing day-to-day accounting operations while helping drive process improvement, scalability, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:
Oversee full-cycle accounting operations, including close, reconciliations, and financial reporting Manage and review accounting processes across multiple entities and operational areas Drive improvements in processes, controls, and reporting efficiency Partner with cross-functional leaders to support business operations and decision-making Lead and develop accounting staff while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables Support audit, reporting, and special project initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 5-8+ years of experience with strong exposure to full-cycle accounting Background in complex, operational environments (industrial or similar preferred) Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel; exposure to data tools a plus CPA or CPA-eligible preferred Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
