Job Description

FP&A ManagerOur trusted client is looking for an FP&A Manager to join their organization in Troy, Michigan on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent role. This position will play a key role during an important planning cycle, supporting the completion of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and executive-level financial reporting. The role will also help strengthen planning capabilities across a multi-site business and provide continuity for a high-visibility finance function.

The day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Lead the budgeting process across multiple plant and retail locations, ensuring local submissions are consolidated into an accurate enterprise view.
  • Prepare and refine quarterly forecasts, delivering timely updates that support leadership decision-making during critical reporting periods.
  • Partner closely with finance leadership and key stakeholders to maintain momentum on planning activities and provide coverage where needed.
  • Develop weekly financial reports and performance summaries that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities across the business.
  • Track and analyze operational KPIs and industry metrics from multiple sites to support ongoing performance management.
  • Support materials and analysis for board-level presentations and earnings-related reporting deadlines.
  • Strengthen long-term planning processes by expanding the team's use of Workday Adaptive Planning and improving consistency in reporting.
  • Contribute to broader FP&A continuity efforts by helping build scalable processes for a growing multi-location organization.
