Contract (3-6 Months) About the Opportunity LHH is searching for an Accounting Manager for a contract engagement supporting leadership coverage. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who can step in quickly, provide oversight to the accounting function, and ensure continuity across financial operations. This opportunity offers high visibility with leadership and requires someone comfortable operating independently while maintaining strong financial controls and reporting accuracy. Key Responsibilities Oversee general accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting Lead and support month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to the accounting function, acting as an interim leader Review and analyze financial results, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies Support audit readiness, including preparation of documentation and collaboration with internal/external stakeholders Drive process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and reporting accuracy Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to support financial decision-making and business initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities Strong background in financial reporting, month-end close, and general ledger accounting Experience managing or overseeing accounting staff or functions Advanced Excel skills and strong systems aptitude Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications CPA or CPA-eligible preferred Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle Background supporting audit processes and internal controls
Pay Details:
