Job Description

Job Description We are assisting our client in looking for a driven, dedicated Accounting Manager to join their Finance team. The Accounting Manager will oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, compliance, expense reconciliation, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within the manufacturing or industrial sector and will possess leadership skills to support the growth and financial accuracy. Please note that this is not a local Nashville based position. Candidates will need to be willing to relocate closer to the Fayetteville, TN area to be physically located at one of their manufacturing sites. Relo assistance is available . In this role you wil l:

Have an understanding of manufacturing financial operations and business structure to provide accurate financial insights to management and team s.

Provide support for financial analysis, budgeting, and forecastin g.

Support cross-functional teams with financial guidance during sales, procurement, and productio n.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls, maintaining proper financial reporting standard s.

Provide support for audits and financial inquirie s.

Lead and mentor the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit teams to ensure high performance and efficient accounting operation s.

Oversee Accounts Receivable and ensure timely customer invoice and cash receipts postin g.

Manage the Bill and Hold order process, including approval s.

Lead the Concur expense review process and perform the month-end Concur reconciliatio n.

Supervise Accounts Payable and ensure timely invoice match and entr y.

Execute weekly AP payment processin g.

Performs other duties as assigne d. WHAT you need to pos sess.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Fin ance.5+ years of experience working in manufacturing or plant environ ment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively partner across operations, leadership, and cross-functional t eams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendat ions.

Proven leadership skills with dedication to driving and achieving res ults.

Demonstrated experience building strong employee relationships and applying effective performance management and coaching techni ques.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills and Microsoft Office S uite.

In-depth working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with the abi lity.
