Accounting Manager

We are seeking qualified candidates for an Accounting Manager that can provide accounting expertise for our manufacturing and e-commerce operations in Russellville, Arkansas , and elsewhere. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated and detail orientated individual who can be a solutions-oriented contributor to the team. This position reports to the Corporate Controller.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities for this position include: Drive timely monthly accounting close for assigned business units. Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation Prepare business unit financial statements and assist in preparing consolidated financial statements Provide expertise in manufacturing accounting and financial analysis to help management improve company performance Create and improve accounting and business processes Direct the activities of accounting clerical personnel, as needed Maintain systems and internal controls for assigned business units Sales/ Use tax returns for multiple states Other duties assigned as needed The ideal candidate will have the following: Bachelors' degree in accounting At least 5 years of experience with general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation Manufacturing or construction accounting experience Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, including pivot tables and experience working with accounting and ERP systems Highly organized and detail oriented Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to successfully manage competing priorities and make solid decisions Physical Requirements Must be able to sit or stand in a stationary position up to 100% of the time. Must be able to walk in an office and production environment up to 100% of the time. Must be able to exchange accurate and concise information verbally in person and on the phone. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
