Job Description
•Starting base salary from $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually plus additional incentives• The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a performance bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Pay is based on location, experience, and qualifications etc. Optimize RevPar by analyzing and forecasting demand and establishing effective selling strategies, oversell strategies and optimal mix of sales. Conduct ongoing competitive pricing and product analyses to ensure proper rate positioning and product offering relative to competitive set hotels. Actively participate in all pricing decisions for transient, group, and contract/wholesale segments. Work with the hotel General Manager, Sales, and Operations team to establish strategies for achieving budgeted rooms and F&B revenue and gaining market share. Facilitate Daily and Weekly Revenue Strategy meetings with the hotel and regional/corporate teams. Generate the monthly rooms revenue forecast and actively participate in budgeting and business planning for the rooms and F&B department. Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly revenue management reports pertaining to market segment, channel distribution, and pace report and present results compared to the previous year, forecast, and budget. Monitor brand and OTA sites to ensure competitiveness in availability, price, content, and visibility. Work with the hotel General Manager and Sales team to establish optimal mix of sales between group and transient to achieve budget and gain market share. Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Administration, Business, Statistics, Marketing, Finance, or a relevant field of work preferred. Minimum three years of revenue management experience required. Strong analytical and effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with general managers, supervisors, corporate teams, etc. Ability to use Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, or IHG revenue, pricing, and inventory management systems and reporting tools to implement pricing and distribution strategies Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
