Finance Manager Mercedes-Benz of Northern Arizona Flagstaff, Arizona Position Summary Mercedes-Benz of Northern Arizona is seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance Manager to lead the dealership's Finance & Insurance (F&I) operations. This leadership role is responsible for maximizing profitability, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing lender relationships, and delivering a premium customer experience consistent with the Mercedes-Benz luxury brand. The Finance Manager will work closely with executive leadership, sales managers, and lending partners to structure financing and protection products that meet customer needs while supporting dealership growth objectives. The dealership operates as a luxury automotive retailer serving Northern Arizona communities including Flagstaff, Prescott, Sedona, Cottonwood, and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily Finance & Insurance operations for new and pre-owned vehicle sales Structure retail, lease, and commercial finance deals in accordance with lender and manufacturer guidelines Present financing, extended warranties, GAP, maintenance plans, and ancillary protection products to customers Maintain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and manufacturer finance partners Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and dealership regulations, including privacy and disclosure requirements Monitor CIT, funding, contracts-in-transit, and chargebacks Train and mentor finance managers and sales staff on compliance, menu presentation, and profitability strategies Collaborate with dealership leadership to achieve monthly performance goals and CSI objectives Analyze financial reports, penetration rates, and product performance metrics Deliver a transparent, luxury-focused customer experience aligned with Mercedes-Benz brand standards Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management within the F&I department Qualifications 3+ years of automotive F&I experience, preferably in luxury automotive retail Prior experience as an F&I Manager or Finance Director required Strong understanding of automotive lending, leasing, compliance, and dealership operations Proven record of achieving finance product penetration and profitability goals Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills Experience with dealer management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, RouteOne, etc.) Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Valid driver's license and clean driving record required Preferred Qualifications Mercedes-Benz or other luxury franchise experience Knowledge of Arizona automotive finance regulations Leadership and team development experience Strong lender network and manufacturer relationship management Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary plus performance bonuses Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Employee vehicle purchase program Career advancement opportunities within the LAPIS dealership organization About the Dealership Mercedes-Benz of Northern Arizona is a luxury automotive dealership owned by LAPIS and led by Dealer Principal Todd Blue.
