Location:
Phoenix, AZ Hirenexus is partnered with a highly respected ~$4B+ AUM multi-family office to assist in their search for an Accounting Manager to support the delivery of high-quality accounting services to UHNW ($20M+) clients. This individual will play a key role in maintaining service quality, operational consistency, and a high standard of client experience. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day client accounting activities, reviewing deliverables, and supporting Advisory team members. Additionally, this role partners closely with the Director of Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting, efficient processes, and strong internal controls across a portfolio of clients. Must have public/multi-client accounting experience, ideally within a family office setting. Responsibilities Oversee client accounting and service delivery by: Managing a portfolio of client accounting work, including oversight of routine and complex transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting Ensuring timely and accurate execution of core financial deliverables, including bill pay, account reconciliations, and monthly reporting Reviewing work completed by Associates and Advisors to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting standards Supporting client interactions on day-to-day accounting matters and maintaining strong professional relationships with client contacts Responding promptly and accurately to client inquiries, escalating more complex issues as needed Presenting and reviewing financial statements and reports with clients Maintaining and updating internal process documentation to ensure consistency and scalability Assisting with the implementation of new tools, systems, and workflows to improve efficiency and service delivery Reinforcing operational best practices and internal controls across all client work Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Experience managing or reviewing accounting work, preferably in a family office, public accounting, or outsourced accounting environment Strong understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and accounting processes Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders Organized, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
