A logistics and engineering company which specializes in providing technical and logistical services, with emphasis in the Semiconductor sector, managing our clients' highly sensitive and precision manufacturing equipment.
Job Summary:
The Finance & Accounting Manager will oversee all financial operations for the U.S. location while managing international transactions, cross-border payments, and global financial compliance. This role requires experience working with multinational companies, a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and international trade finance, and the ability to coordinate financial operations with our Singapore headquarters and global partners. The candidate will work out of the Scottsdale Office.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting Oversee full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, receivables, general ledger, and financial reporting. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS. Develop and manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support global business operations. Monitor key financial metrics, cost structures, and operational expenses to optimize profitability. International Transactions & Cross-Border Finance Manage multi-currency transactions, foreign exchange risk, and global banking relationships. Oversee international wire transfers, letters of credit (LCs), and trade finance instruments. Ensure accurate and timely processing of cross-border intercompany transactions, invoicing, and reconciliations. Work closely with Singapore HQ and global finance teams to maintain consistency in international financial operations. Handle transfer pricing compliance, ensuring adherence to international tax laws and intercompany transaction policies. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with U.S. tax laws, IFRS, Singapore HQ policies, and international financial regulations. Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors for international tax filings, regulatory reporting, and audits. Develop and implement financial controls and risk management strategies to safeguard global assets. Cost Management for Logistics & Engineering Operations Oversee cost accounting for logistics, warehousing, and engineering services, ensuring accurate cost allocation to global client projects. Analyze supply chain costs, import/export expenses, and logistics cost structures to improve operational efficiency. Optimize working capital, cash flow, and cost-saving strategies for international operations. Collaboration with Global & Regional Partners Serve as the financial liaison between the U.S. office, Singapore HQ, and international business partners. Support global business expansions, acquisitions, and partnerships by providing financial insights. Assist in financial negotiations with vendors, banks, and international clients. System Implementation & Process Improvement Implement and integrate financial systems in line with Singapore HQ's ERP (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, or similar tools). Improve financial processes, leveraging automation and digital tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Ensure seamless financial reporting consolidation across international locations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred). CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent certification is a plus. 7+ years of financial management experience, preferably in logistics, engineering, or semiconductor-related industries. Experience in international financial operations, cross-border transactions, and trade finance. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and global tax regulations. Hands-on experience with foreign exchange risk management, intercompany transactions, and transfer pricing compliance. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite) and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced international business environment, managing multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with import/export financial regulations, customs duties, and supply chain finance. Understanding of international banking operations and treasury management.
