Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role will lead key processes including month-end close, financial statement preparation, and team supervision, while partnering with leadership to support overall financial performance and compliance. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys both managing the close process and improving accounting operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, and reconciliations Manage and review month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and review financial statements and internal reporting packages Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies and procedures Maintain and strengthen internal controls and documentation Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff Support audit processes, including coordination with external auditors Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with finance Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial data Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and accuracy across accounting functions Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to leadership Partner cross-functionally to support operational and financial initiatives Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience managing month-end close and full-cycle accounting processes Prior experience reviewing work and leading or mentoring a team Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments CPA or CPA candidate preferred Experience in multi-entity or complex environments is a plus
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
