This pivotal role involves overseeing comprehensive accounting functions, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support organizational growth. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in corporate, governmental, or non-profit accounting, with a strong foundation in technical accounting principles and financial management. As a key member of our finance team, you will foster a culture of accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement. Duties Oversee full-cycle accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close. Expert in QuickBooks , general ledger management, and financial reporting. Prepare and analyze Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and monthly financial reports . Manage account reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash flow monitoring. Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support business decisions. Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements. Supervise accounting staff and improve accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support organizational growth and profitability. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum of five years of experience in public accounting or corporate finance roles; experience in governmental or non-profit sectors is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting concepts such as accrual accounting, double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and financial report writing. In-depth understanding of GAAP principles along with regulatory reporting requirements. Excellent leadership capabilities with experience mentoring teams in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high attention to detail.
